My Golden keeps eatting my wifes dirty thongs. thongs only though any ideas?

Try a laundry hamper. If it's not in his reach = it's not in his mouth.

My golden did the same thing...I think most dogs are attracted to the female scent. My dog was also notorius for removing *ahem* things from the bathroom...if you know what I mean!

My dog loves my thongs too. Spray them with bitter apple does the trick. Sometimes I think I should break down and just buy the 50 gallon drum of bitter apple. I need to spray my hands, the carpet in certain spots, shoes and I need to make a holster to hold bitter apple spray when I am out walking the dog and she wants to bite my hands. I'm sure that she will grow out of this for the most part.

She totally ruins the croth part of the thong like ruins it I have pictures to prove also if we spray it with bitter apple won't my G/F taste like bitter apple over time

Sorry to say, but the best cure is prevention, or training, it will keep going till you do one or the other. How old is your dog? is he still teething? purchase something else that he is allowed to chew, then train him to chew only that. A kong stuffed with peanut butter will keep him entertained for hours.
Also if your wife is his main carer, then he will naturally go for anything that is hers, call it love. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

MORE information about your personal habits than needed at this point.
1) When intimate - leave dog outside of room - put cloths on a dresser or hook or put dirty cloths in hamper. DON't put thongs back on if a) in dogs mouth or b) sprayed with anything to deter dog - WASH first.
2) Teach dog that feminine products are not for play or consumption. YUCK!! Same way as garbage is not for play or consumption.
