My dogs are kept outside because of a allergy that we found after 47 years of having my dogs and also lucy was messing in the house in the same spot pretty much to p*ss my mom off. Well I just cant seem to keep those darn fleas off em! Tramp has rashes near his tail and lucy is allergic to them so she has rashes all over her. Does anyone recomend a cream or something I can put on the spots to keep tem from itching and to keep fleas away from that area? I bathe them every sunday but they like to roll in the compost pile!

I use advantage flea drops on both my dog and cat and havent had a problem with fleas yet. You get it from your vet a little more expensive than the ones you buy at the store but the flea lands, bites, dead, wheras some treatments only sterilize the flea so it can continue to bite.

Do you have an exterminator? I have one who comes every other month and sprays for fleas just in case. I also put frontline plus on my dogs once a month for the rest of their lives.
What has your vet said?

I've used frontline plus on my dog and have not yet had a problem. Ask your vet what cream to use since this is a situation that needs imediate attention, and you want to get to the bottom on it now.

Frontline Plus or Revolution. Both work very well on my dogs.

You have to treat the area where the fleas are and your pets' bedding as well. I have learned through experience, nothing keeps the fleas away! If they're there, they're there to stay!
If you don't kill them off with a vengeance, they never go. Frontline really solved all my flea problems! (I sound like a walking advertisement for them!) But it really works though! Flea bites can get really nasty and is very uncomfortable for the animal. Just think about it, walking, eating, messing parasites all over your body!
My sister had a cat who did not allow any flea passengers on himself. He used to look at the carpet with intense concentration, when he saw a flea, he would leap up and find something high to sit on, shaking his legs furiously! He never had any fleas though…
