My husband and I will be welcoming a Boston Terrier male puppy to our house in about 4 weeks. We'll keep him confined to the kitchen area initially, and need recommendations for quality, but not pricey, pet gates. We'd prefer pressure mounted because we have wood door frames that we don't want to drill holes into. Thanks!

Try going to a second hand baby selling place, flea markets and/or newspaper. Kids gates come in a variety of styles and most parents don't keep them for long.
Although a crate is better for housetraining and only cost around $70.00 (canadian) for a good one that can be used for the entire life of the dog including as a bed or travel crate.

We made a doggie door ourselves, to keep the dogs out of some areas where the cats need to go in. So the cats jump over and the dogs stay out! It was really cheap and quick to make it. And you just put it up wherever you need it, no holes or damage to the doors. It took about an hour to make, less time that it would have taken to search for something similar! And like I said, it’s not for a specific door only, if your doorframes are all equal in size, this will fit anywhere.
