I want to see pics of everyone's dogs I figure I plan on spending a lot of time on this forum as my Mollygrows up, as as my Daisy get's old. So, I figure I might as well see the pics of everyone's dogs so I know who everyone is talking about! You, especially, Doglover...you keep talking about Ariel and Dax and I have NO idea what they look like, lol! And I'd really like to! I'd also like to know what breed (although I'm normally an extremely good guesser), and of course their names, and ages, and maybe a little about them
I'll start...I could only find pics of my older dog, Daisy. She's 8 years old. We got her when she was 2 from a shelter. She'd already been through 3homes and had been abused and neglected in the second two. She's dog aggressive and human aggressive, but is EXTREMELY good with cats, and is a relitively calm dog. We think she's a pit/lab. She really has a pit body, but I don't haveany pics of her standing up to show it off, so she just looks like a mutt :-p And if you hadn't already noticed, she's cross-eyed

Please post your pics as well! [ June 25, 2004, 11:55 PM: Message edited by: Elite ]

This is my boy Jack whose first birthday is tomorrow
This is the girl who never does anything wrong, Greta
The best friends together
Couldn't resist. I think this picture is too cute. Too bad Bentley (the cat) didn't work out. He was a kitty from the barn where I board my horse that just loves my dogs so I thought that I would make him a happy house kitty until he decided that he was litter box impaired. He just going to be a happy barn kitty!
Okay, not really a dog. But somethings I think he wants to be one. He is loved and spoiled as much as my dogs are!

This was taken April 28th, 2004 so Ariel's bigger now.

Both are females. Dax is part Rotti part Elk Hound. Very loving dog.
Ariel is pure rotti.

Are you sure about Dax? The first thing I thought when I saw her picture was a mix of Rotti and Belgian Tervuren, or some other kind of West European Herding dog.
Just a guess though... She is a beautiful dog anyhow! [ June 28, 2004, 08:10 AM: Message edited by: MadnessBunny ]

Oh, wow, she really does look like a norg/rott. How did you figure THAT out? I would have taken forever figuring out that either of hose breeds was in her, but now it just seems obvious, lol!

I think this makes sense too: + = Look at Dax's head shape, The colors of her coat, and also, look carefuly at the shape of fur she has on her legs. But, it's not that important. I agree elkhound seems very possible. [ June 29, 2004, 01:02 AM: Message edited by: MadnessBunny ]

I love her no matter is she was 1/2 goat, the picture doesn't do her justice.
I think it's her body structure - she has a U shaped back which convinced me it was elk hound.
But I like the cross picture game.

I see more elkhound...see how the fur/skin works right above the shoulders? VERY elkhound. I think the legs seem pretty elkhound as well? But hey, a dog can have morethan 2 things in it ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
