[Flaming Mad] [Mad]
Oh my gosh, this is horrible. These people need to be punished. It was innocent puppies, dogs who already hate the noise from fireworks. Reading this makes me so sad, no poor animal should ever have this happen!!!!!

This is why I keep my dog and cat on a leash or inside people all the abuses that occur to animals by owners and just sick people in general.

You're on the right track with the ants. I believe that someone should invent a machine - clear bubble that you put these monsters in - then you attach leads to various parts of their body and you get to pay money to apply a little electricity to them. I have a whole bunch of change I would donate to the cause. But I'm basically a good person so I would actually start to feel sorry for them.

Around here dogs were being stlen from the animal shelter and set on fire. I saw one puppy who they didn't quite kill with the fire, and she was adorable! How could anyone do that? I'm always worried about people like that [Frown]

I can't go in and read the articles, it sounds sickening, and I know I would probably vomit if it's that bad. But I can guess what it's about.
In Australia cruelty to animals is considered a crime and people DO go to jail if caught.
My hubby works in a jail, there is some justice you know. [Big Grin]

well here in canad we have had in the last two years i can recall a dog thrown against a wall breaking his leg , dogs dragged, ctas tortured skinned, stabbed stolen from homes and the penaltys are bull maybe 2000 dolars and MAYBE 6 MTHS in jail so not sufficient for animals that can live 18 yrs.

In a town about 2 hours from here, some kids killed some puppies by putting fireworks in their mouth. That's so horrible. I can't stand that.
