my mom brings my dog outside to go potty every morning at 6, then leaves her in our sunroom, but she barks constantly after that for about three hours!(saturday mornings are the worst) How do we teach her from barking in the mornings without letting her out from the sunroom.. or just barking in general?

When she barks does someone normally go and let her back in or tell her to be quiet?

The books say that to teach a dog to stop barking you must first teach it to bark. Once you teach them to bark on command you can give them for quiet.
