Question about poop!

I've been wondering if Dash ate horse poop and that horse had Ivermectin would it be bad for him?? I'm not sure if he's Ivermectin sensitive or not....just curious....

Dogs in general should never be given horse wormer it can and will kill them. But after it make it's way thur the gut I don't this theres must harm in it.

As for dogs eating road apples, to much of a good thing can be to much not matter what it is. My boys will grab a snack or 2 when they can but if they get to much they end up with garbage gut and we end up at the vet getting subQ fluids just to be safe.

I just bought a 1lb container for the cats, even dusting their fur with it and feeding it to them, I think it's going to last forever!! Specifically - how bad is it for them to eat horse poop? Odin and Monkey both are crazy for it. I'm pretty sure they dream about the next time they get to smell horse poop. Do I really need to be watching them like a hawk and pulling dried bits of poopie out of their mouths, or is it no big deal?

Don't know much about horse, sorry, but it just seems to be one of those "dog things" . I do know that sheep and goat seems to be worse though, with a higher instance of dogs "being sick" after ingesting as told by thier owners.

I will also note something I found a while ago. On another "just Corgi" forum, an owner had their Corgi show up with seizures mysteriously. Seems though someone else pointed out they had just gotten Chicken's, and when did the symptoms start? Yep, turns out (they said) that chicken poo has a VERY high level of phosphorus they said, and if they eat to much it can imbalanced their calcium to phosphorus ratios and cause mild seizures.
Kicker, haven't had a problem yet with as much as Jinjo has gotten into. The last vet we saw told us her dogs eat it in high amount without a problem either (big dogs), so, I'm not sure myself. But, thought I would through it out to anyone just as a side of caution anyways just in case.

Oh, how I love all natural! No chemicals dumped in my dog, just mix with yogurt and feed and bye-bye worms. Cheap too (I buy from a dog show vendor).
