need help about wormer

I have heard that some people use horse wormer to worm their dogs. If anyone here does that could you please tell me which wormer you use and how much of it for dogs ranging from 50-150lbs.
Thanks in advance.

I would not use a medical product on my dog that isn't formulated for dogs.

A dog's body reacts differently to meds for a horse. I recommend you stick with dog products only

I use Horse Wormer one mi monthly the 22nd of each month of Zimectrin. Have been doing this for years and years, it contains the same chemical as Heart Guard, this is why I use it monthly. My dogs always test Negative for worms as do my puppies. I still worm them for round worms every 2 weeks.

Alot of top breeders use Zimectrin, Roemectin, Iver Care, do not give more than one mi or cc. About the size of a new eraser on a new pencil. I would not use it on very small dogs, I have Shepherds and they have absolutely no effects from it. They have shiny healthy coats, no worms, we hot lime all our property every late spring to kill any largae, eggs, etc. It is totally safe, easy to measure come like a long pencil with a screw type to measure the dose. Most all top breeders use Horse Wormer. My vet approves of it also.

If you are considering using it please ask your vet first! I have to agree with Moo here - I wouldn't use a product which wasn't formulated for dogs, it might be fine but be very careful!

the " horse" wormer you are refurig ot is called Synanthic and its white in color correct? If this is what you are talking about than you will have to ask your vet for the exact thing. I don't remember off hand.
