well i had never really paid attention to the fact that their were American Danes And Euro Danes i really didnt know the diffrence.. well i was talking to one of my friends who owns Tank he's this huge 185lb Dane (his head is at my chest!) well we were talking and he was telling me the diffrence between Euro Danes and American Danes there is a HUGE diffrence..i had no clue

this guy would be considered an American Dane...they are still big but not as big as the euro danes ..these are the ones that you will see more of

basically Euro Danes have bigger heads,larger jowls and a heavier build.
so typically a euro dane will be more solid and taller than an american Dane...ive seen both showing before so it really dosent matter but i abosolutly loved tank he is so huge...so apparently malakais dad was a euro dane and his mom was american lol
so i might have to find a euro dane breeder down the line lol...more temptations

wow the first euro dane has huge lips! Boy would I love to play with his lips! lol (I have also played with our danes lips, they got so annoyed with me! lol)

Well all I've seen are Euro Danes if that's what the Euro Dane looks like. I've never seen a Dane like the "American" Dane in the picture up there. He looks so small lol.

lol american danes arnt small if you see them up close...most danes in rescues and shelters are american danes..only thing diffrent is they have a smaller build then the euro danes but american danes are still big just not massive like the euro dane

Euro Danes look like the build & head shape of the danes I usually see.

KJ- RT on the 'other' board has Euro Danes. She had one before, who passed away this spring, that I got to meet. She was the RUNT of her litter and was about 240lbs. Her brothers reached about 40-44 inches at the shoulder. Yeah, big boys. She has two now, an older breeding bitch (now spayed) and a 7mo old puppy, both from the same breeder as her original one.

Oh wow I see what you mean. I friend of mine shows her Harl. and he looks nothing like this one. I can't imagine what Euro danes look like in person compaired to Susies
