Ginger is okay

I mentioned on the general chat section that I had to take my old dog into the vet to get a lump checked. It turned out to be a fatty lump - benign. It is about the size of a half of an egg. The vet said to just keep an eye on it so it doesn't grow too big. We celebrated and went to PetsMart to get her doggy treats.

Am so glad that it turned out to be benign. Give Ginger a hug and kiss from Penny and I.

Oh thats wonderful news, we resently had to have a lump removed from Bodies back leg, it turned out to be a harmless Histiocytoma but the worry before had was almost too much.

My dog had a couple of those fat lump things too. But they went away all on their own.

Thanks

Thanks everyone. Ginger had one of those same things in her neck about a year ago. They did remove that one due to where it is. I guess I have to realize that these things come due to old age. She is l3 3/4 and I want her to live until at least l7. Three of our neighbors' dogs lived until l7. I did ask about adopting a new sibling for her and the vet thought that was great. I was glad to hear that.
