new do
I have been clipping Joe in the schnauzer style, which fits him to a T. I have left his big floppy ears furry. Should I shave them? I want to but then chicken out. Does anyone have any other suggestions for types of clips to try on him. I love grooming my babies and they don't mind one bit! So, what do you think?
AND as I told my 12yr old he won't look good in a lion cut! LOL |

Well I think Joe looks cute as he is but if you're looking for a little change you could try shaving just a 1/4 to 1/2 way down the ear, trim a little more off bottom edge , and angle cut (wedge) so that it fluffs. Maybe a little wedge clip right above the forhead to square up his face. Sometimes shorting the ears give them more of a "puppy" look....but really he's cute either way!

Yep we need pictures!
Joey would look adorable no matter how long his ears are! I can never cut Lilly's ears though, she looks funny with shorter ears even though that is part of the 'Bichon look' lol. |
