Lightbulb Rare breeds

Anyone know of any Rare breeds?
The Mudi is a medium sized dog that is so rare that theres only one breeder in the US and shes not even breeding for a long time again. You have to import them from Hungary. There arent very many, and they almost went extinct.
There like a mini shepherd almost. They are also fearless. Also Does anyone have any pictures of the King Shepherd. Its a GS bred to a malamute and then bred back to the GS. I tried to find a picture of one but couldnt. Its also on the rare registry.

Uhm what are you talking about? The Mudi almost went extinct after the world wars. they disspaered that they even had to do inbreeding to get the breed back up in numbers. They almost died out as in..no more Mudi.

It seems they are not rare in Canada. When the toller started showing up in the states everyone thought they were rare.
What is a mini shepherd?

This dog is not rare but you don't hear about it much
The Chinook

The Chinook is a Northern breed derived from a single ancestor. The father of the breed, Chinook, was born on author/explorer Arthur Walden's Wonalancet, New Hampshire farm in 1917. He was one of three pups born to a "Northern Husky" female sired by one of the dogs on Peary's North Pole team. Chinook's sire was a large, mixed breed dog. Chinook was a "sport," a phenomenon of nature, not resembling either of his parents. He was an outstanding sled dog and accompanied Admiral Byrd's South Pole expedition in 1927. Chinook's offspring, who inherited his coloring, size and general characteristics, were bred to combine the strength of the large freight dog with the speed of the smaller racing sled dogs. In the early 1900's, the Chinook set records for distance covered, loads carried and running time. This breed has been maintained through the years by a small number of dedicated fanciers.

Toller

The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever was developed in Nova Scotia in the early 19th century to toll (or lure) and retrieve waterfowl. The tolling dog runs, jumps, and plays along the shoreline in full view of flocks of ducks, occasionally disappearing from sight and then quickly reappearing, aided by the hunter, who throws small sticks or a ball for the dog. The dog's playful actions arouse the curiosity of the ducks swimming offshore and they are lured within gunshot range. The Toller is subsequently sent out to retrieve the dead or wounded birds.
