Pugs are prone to that, they all are chow hounds. Just watch how cute he is when you are eating. My hubby is the softest touch in the world. He wouldn't let me have a Italian greyhound said he would feel guilty until he fattened it up and knows you can't do that. Well, at least there are the 2 of us. Wicket sounds great, 4 yrs is a good age, pug pups are notorious for mischief up to about 2 or 3 yrs. I love pugs, snoring and all.

Yes he does snore loud!!!! He is bit over weight, and I am going to change his diet around, currently he is on science diet, 1/2 cup in the morning and same at night, but that is dry feed, so it's more like 3/4 of a cup all together, I will be switching him to Nutro like my dogs are on but a low cal diet, with some added cod liver oil to help his skin and coat.but in all he has a great personality, so much more laid back hatn my two shih-tzu's!

I have a female shihtzu, she is laid back, but I think it's unfair to judge her , she was orphaned at 2 weeks old she was the runt and was almost lost. I brought her home to put her on my pom who had milk, she nursed but really was too weak I handfed her evry 2 hours. She grew up in my pocket for a month everywhere I went she went, in my purse, to restaurants, karaoke, Christmas dinner at mom's shopping . I know she could have caught something but she didn't. She had holistic meds to helpher digstion, immune system, etc. So, I think she just takes everything in stride. Nutro is great he should really get over the skin problems fast. Good luck, =)

I met someone today who has three pugs. She was telling me about a comb of sorts made by Kong (of Kong toys). She says it's kind of flat with little plastic nubbies on it. Anyway, she said this is the BEST comb for pugs and really gets the undercoat out. She couldn't say enough good things about it.

Thought I'd pass it on.

Isn't it funny how danes seem to really like small dogs? That brush sounds good, I'll have to look for it.
