And the winner is...

The Cane Corso!

As you all know, I have been (prematurely) trying to decide what breed I want to get next so that I can start researching and talking to breeders. Well, I ran into a Corso the other day and I decided that I wanted to get one. If I had to wait a little longer because of their size (need a place that allows 120lb dogs) than it is well worth the wait. I had narrowed it down to the Corso and the Malinios. Well, a malinios (as much as I want one) are such a huge challenge, that I decided to wait until I had my own house before I get one. That might be a few years and well, I just simply can't wait that long. So, here it is:
I want a light fawn male, prefer to keep the ears uncropped, but if they are already done, so be it.

Now I just need to find a breeder near Calgary and start Apartment searching...lol...

"Hi, I would like to rent this apartment. My 55 lb crazy collie, my 120 lb Italian Mastiff, and my mean bearded dragon will be staying with me... where d oI sign!"

Rough Collies - are you still starting your own dog training business? What did you decide to name it?

rough - I would look at renting a house in Calgary vs an apartment. You may also want to look at monster.ca or the government job bank for something in the meantime. Many companies will sponsor your move in exchange for years of having a good employee. This can save you lots of $$$

Saving money is a VERY good thing. I was looking at prices for apartments there, and you're right, it would make more sense to rent a house. That way, I can have my dogs too. Most houses that allow dogs don't have a size limit, but apartments usually do. I am not moving until after the new year, so right now I am just looking at what I have to do to get there. I'll look into this sponsor idea. Do you jknow anything else about it?
