Do you brush your dog's teeth?

I brush Chopper's teeth every day and I know that you are suppose to brush your dog's teeth...but I am surprised by how many people think I am nuts and never heard of doing it here. So I was just wondering how many people here brush their dog's teeth.

Yes I think it is important to do but I sometimes forget! Thanks for reminding me. I use the brush/paste and I have the dental wipes.

I use the finger brush and make a paste of baking soda/hydrogen peroxide. Try to do it once a week, but they don't like it!

I brush Chopper's with beef flavored toothpaste and he doesn't mind me doing it but only really because he likes the taste of it lol He is use to it since I have been doing it ever since he was a puppy

Kota's is beef flavor too. The wipes are mint.

I brush Lilly's teeth every 2nd day, she will only let me do it using an electric toothbrush though.

LOL yes she is a complete brat when it comes to having her teeth brushed. If I don't use the electric toothbrush she won't open her mouth lmao.

I used to brush Kirby's teeth regularly, but I've slacked on it recently. I brush him once a week maybe, and for the rest, I rely on a carrot or a greenie... He has pretty good oral health, doesn't really need me in his mouth all the time.

...I still use a finger brush.

Poms and Poodles are notorious for having bad teeth, losing their teeth and/or contracting other illnesses from bacteria that gets into their bloodstream.

I got Miko when he was four and didn't brush his teeth for the first few years I had him. Then I took him in for his yearly teeth cleaning and he lost 8 teeth!! The vet said they were all loose from tarter buildup, bacteria, etc. I felt TERRIBLE and have brushed all the dog's teeth ever since.

Miko hardly has any teeth in the front. My fault. I REALLY hate doing it since I have three dogs, but I do it anyway. What a pain. I use the really small end of a Petrodex brush. They each have their own.
