wet nose vs runny nose

is there an easy way to tell if your dog has a runny nose vs just a wet nose? one the symptoms of the dog flu going around is a runny nose. but, how do you know it's runny vs just plain wet?

does the volume really increase? do you see the drips?

Wet is just damp. Runny, is well, runny. Plus, if your dog had the flu, I would think you'd have other tell-tale signs.

A wet nose it just that .. wet, however a runny nose usually involves a change in the color of the mucus in the nose. Similar to us if we have a cold. does that help at all?

Coughing can be a sign of kennel cough or the dog flu. Has your dog ben vacinated for Kennel cough? If so and its around other dogs frequently I suggest taking her to the vet if the cough persits.

When Ariel had her respiratory infection a runny nose was long streams of snot (thick mucus). I often see clear fluid coming out of both dog's noses. I would be leary of an thicker discharge.

Im not sure if she has had all the shots the guys wasnt real honest about her he said she was house trained fully not true you have to watch her and he said she was a pure bred lab but she cost $100 and she came with not paper work I find it hard to believe that she has been fully vacinated and she came to use a lil to skinny

Sounds like she could use a good once over by a vet.
