Question Listen to this!

I spoke to my vet today and asked her about what was best on using to keep the puppies warm. Well, both vets in my clinic said not to use anything. no heating lamp, heating pad & so on. they said let the mother take care of them herself. They said all the pups need is there mother! What do you guys think of this Advice coming from a Vet? Should I listen to them or Buy something that will keep them warm? Ow, They said just use a warm Blanket!!!

One of my vets told me the same use nothing, and another said use a heat lamp. i dont use anything unless its under 75 deg in my house. Never use blankets what was he thinkin? You just do what you think is best. Good luck can not wait to see them

I would not use a blanket right away, they might get lost in it and libby might not see them and sit on them!

try vets blankets that what we use for all of our dogs beds, great when you have a litter as it keeps the wet away from the pups!

You are right you shouldn't use blankets, i use vet bed and its great, any pee soaks through and the top stays dry, I didn't need to use anything because it was so warm here when jess had her baby's. Get a room thermometer and hang it at floor level, then you will se if you need extra heat or not
