Unhappy worried about his hips

this morning at around 7am i woke up to let the dogs out well the other dogs went out fine but malakai wouldnt get up, he just looked up at me and wasnt even trying to get up so i helped him a bit and his back legs were completly stiff, i almost had a heart attack he could walk but his back legs were extremly stiff, i thought maybe he slept in a weird position but he went outside, he did his buisness and threw himself to the ground i ran over to him and he just laid there i helped him up again and he just leaned on me...he wasnt playing he wasnt running around..nothing...so i called his vet but they cant even see him today

when i got home later today ( i was only gone for an hour) he did the same thing it was hard for him to get up and when he was outside he just plopped on the grass and just wanted to lay down and sleep...its only his back legs and he dosent seem to be in pain but he's having so much trouble sitting and even just standing. the first thing that came to my mind was hip dysplasia, im sure he is going to be fine, maye im just being over worried mom, but im so worried about him and what made it all worse is that his stupid vet wont even see him untill tommorow afternoon...do you guys have any thoughts about this whole thing? im so worried

That seems silly, i guess that they dont class it as serious, Just keep an eye on him and if he seems in pain then call them, but let us know what happens when you go tomorrow. i hope he is ok

Your vets seem to work diffently to ours? As long as he is happy in his self then he will be ok untill tomorrow, yes its strange and not normal. Has he done anything different today?

update
well i did get malakai to the vet last night by that time it had gotton worse he couldnt even lay down without help i even had to lift him in the car...
well just to keep it brief the vet said it could be 3 diffrent things...he said maybe he's just soar from playing or rough housing the day before...growing pains, which is common in giant breeds, or the one that made me tear up, hip dysplasia...the vet said if he has hip dysplasia this young chances are hes going to have a poor quality life......hes on an anti flamitory medication right now and after he's through with the perscription and if hes not any better i have to take him back to do blood work and things things like that, im trying to stay positive and he is looking a little better today, they gave him a litter of fluids last night because he wasnt drinking and that perked him up a little.....im still worried sick about him and im just hopeing this whole thing will pass without a problem..

No x-rays? That would rule out the hip displasia?
