I'm gutted...

So I finally convince hubby that a dog from the rescue could be just as much a success in our house as an 8 week old puppy as a friend for Poppy, I see a 10 month old pup through the rescue I help out with and guess what????? Another family is going to visit him on Sunday . I bet they take him, they have always had rescue dogs with issues. He looks a really stunning dog and I know he has issues but I'm sure we can work on them...

Oh well, I guess these things happen for a reason and if they take him I'm sure it was meant to be for them and us too... it's just I'm having a really crappy day and finding that just ended my day on a low note.

Maybe if you ask them, they'll take another one?

you could always do like the jetta commercial and run up before the other people can and lick the puppy. Nobody ever wants anything after you have licked it.

That's the trouble Dax, he's the last one - we have no other dogs to rehome at the moment and I don't know the details of the family! I know he will have a good home with them so it's not like he'll be going to a bad home or anything, it's just he could have had so much fun with us

I know it's not decided yet so I still have my fingers crossed!

Now there's a thought, perhaps if I take Poppy and we both lick him they definitely won't want him - spoiled goods - lol

Why can't you look at the pup before the other family Poppy?

well, the people would sure be freaked out! you could take advantage of that opportunity and snatch the dog up.

When my sisters and bf went to go pick out Bernice she was running with some other puppies and a pregnant lady was looking at her. My youngest sister walked up, picked Bernice up and paid for her right then. (she was my christmas present) I don't condone meaness like this, but I am glad she did it.

I know you'll find the perfect dog!

I have my fingers crossed that you can get this one but if not there will be one out there which is meant for you! After all good things come to those who wait.

i wish we had an easy, cheap way of getting pups to England. the rescue group i work with has about 130 labs for you to choose from...

but, good luck, and keep your fingers crossed for another one to come along.
