Hello, has anyone had a dog who has had her head cocked so far to the side that it touches her neck, and also is falling down, no balance whatsoever? This is occuring in a 5 year old female boxer, she has been to the vet, IV's antibiotics, vit. shots, prednisone, fluids, ear antibiotics and the vet says it is an ear infection (and whipworms) she is alittle better, this has been going on for 9 days, would an ear infection cause the loss of balance and her head being cocked so far back? What is recovery time? This is my neighbors dog and they are concerned that the vet may not be on the right track. she was in the vets for 4 days, just wanting to know if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.

Well, if it is an inner ear infection it could cause that. What most people are familiar with is a middle ear infection which is completely different.
