Stupid shedding season!!!

Okay, for all of you husky-type owners out there, how do you stop the shedding? My parents dog, Bailey has that thick husky type coat and she has no end to her shedding. She's on an all natural food and what not, but it's constant. It took me several hours to groom her today and she still looks terrible. My parents won't buy her any shed-stop. I take care of her, but she is their dog. I'm going crazy. Faith doesn't shed nearly at all compared to this dog.

What are you using to groom her with. She's got a really thick undercoat and an outer coat that stays in place. Have you used an undercoat rake on her? It'll get the loose undercoat and leave her outer coat in place.

I've used just about everything. I have so many tools for Faith that I've tried on Bay... it's unmanagable.

I had a Husky/Malamute years ago. He would totally blow his coat twice a year, but always shed in between. I'm not too familiar with the breed as that was in my "youth" Do you suppose it has anything to do with being in warm climates?
