PuppY Names?

Hello guys,
I was just wondering, Do any of you give the puppies name even knowing they are going to go to there new homes in 8 week? I have names for the pups But my Hubby thinks that is Crazy because I am not keeping them. Libby was names Daisy before I got her. I think it is good so they will responde back at you when you are Pre Potty training & Playing with them. I am going to.

When I get any from Germany they are always named because of the SV papers. Here is U.S. I do not buy, but when I first did they were not named. I go by the Alphabet we are now on M, N and O litters of. TO register it must begin with the letter named on papers but I do not finish the name just post the letter, I have enough problems figuring out what to name what I keep. It is fine to name them, they can always call it whatever daily they want to.

When we bred cats we named our kittens, and the people were always welcome to 're-name' them... my aunt does that with her Poms too.. although she had to get scrunchies to tell her poms appart this time as they're ALL Cremes!

I have always named our chihuahua's. All different names to. From Geronimo to Tinkerbell, they have had an assortment of names. I love big names for little dogs and little names for big dogs. Like

Chihuahua- Geronimo, Hurculues, Samson, Goliath

Dane - Tiny, Precious,Tinkerbelle Pebbles, Mina etc.

Nothing funnier, than running into a Rotti named "Teacup" [and yes, we knew someone with a Rotti that name]
