Not sure on what to do.
I have heard stories from numerious people about one of the ladies down the road from us. She has horses locked up in stables that never see daylight and stand in their own muck for months at a time, she doesnt clean them out she gets a bobcat in to clean it out in one big hit. The horses she doesnt have any value on she puts out in the scrub block and doesnt feed them.
She also has a dog that is tied 24/7 on a 3 foot chain, the shelter it has is under a truck. They spray it with water bottles for fun. They also have about 50 cats that keep breeding. They wonder everywhere and one of the neighbours across the road from her keeps shooting them when they wonder on his property. The thing is these are only stories I have heard. She has her front gate locked 24/7 so you cant just wonder in. Friends down the road want to buy a horse off of her to save him. She wants to sell him but wont let them look at him. So should I call up the RSPCA we have here and make a complaint? But I havnt seen any of this so if they ask what I have seen what do I say? I have only learnt all of these things out in the last few days and its just getting worse who I speak to. I really want to do something to help all the horses and dog and cats out. But I dont want to break into her place to look. Any suggestions? |

I'd call the RSPCA and tell them how concerned you are, tell them what you've heard etc and they can come out and have a look. It is better to be safe in cases such as these.
Good luck! |

The lady that wants to buy the horse has an appt with her tomorrow. So fingers crossed she can get me some more information. Then I can have something solid to call the RSPCA with. I will keep you updated.

Please call the RSPCA. I bet they won't mind coming out and checking her out to save those poor animals. I bet they have many calls that turn out to be false, but if they can save one animal from torture and that is what I consider making them stand in their own muck, then it is worth irritating an owner.

I know she has been checked out before with some of her horses. The RSPCA couldnt believe one of the mares was a 5 yr old until they looked at her teeth, he couldve sworn she was 30+.
She just lies to everyone and everyone hears different stories from her. I will have to get her correct address tomorrow and give them a call. |

My friends who are trying to buy one of her horses to rescue him what I know about him is he is a one year old colt who is being used as a teaser for her mares. Poor lad he is going to have some issues later on in life. They are going to geld him as soon as they can get him. They have gone to her place numerous times with cash in hand and she wont let them see him.
As soon as I get her proper address and hopefully her phone number I am going to call and I will let you know what they say. |
