Bernese Mt. Dog
i have never owned a bernese mt dog, but they are beautiful animals, i was just wondering everyones personal opinions on them, because i would like to eventually own one if they are as good as they look!!

My dogs trainer has one! They are HUGE but very sweet and his has a calm demeanor, he is an adult, i am not sure of his age.. beautiful dogs!

They are really nice - around here most reputable breeders I know of have long waiting lists for their puppies because they are very popular (One of my friends looked into getting one).

Berner Breeders are very picky about where there puppies go.If you find a breeder who does not make you sign a contract you found a bad one.This is the only breed that I know of,where the parent club buys all animals in shelters and in puppy mills.They don't want to see their breed distroyed like so many others.

I have several, and I breed them under the name Whispering Wind Bernese. They are very expensive to buy, and like the other Rottie said berner breeders are VERY touchy about where their pups go, some might call us...snooty?
They are wonderful dogs!

I love bernese mt dogs!!! they are my favorite breed!! Thay are very loyal,loving, and beutiful!
