Min Pins

I'm sure there's been a thread done on these little guys before but I thought I would do it anyways.

I'm trying to figure out if a min pin would be suitable for my lifestyle.... I am frequently on a farm (planning on moving to one of my own soon) where there are numerous animals such as horses, ducks, chickens, miniature ponies, geese, pigs, emus, etc. In the house there are cats and dwarf hamsters... There's also kids 3 + around frequently. I currently have a Golden Retriever and am not looking for another big dog. I was originally looking at a Doberman but changed my mind as I think a smaller dog would be more suited to my house, my car, and just me in general... Now that being said, I've never been a huge fan of small dogs (no offence to anyone who has one!!) but min pins have grabbed my heart.

I am currently not working due to being in a serious car accident in September so right now I have loads of time. Once I do start working again it will only be part-time and I have a friend who would be more than happy to look after the dog while I'm working. Or I could leave it at my parents place.

Do you think a min pin would be suitable for something like this? Are they easily trained?

I am doing some research on them as I never really paid much attention to little dogs before

Any help would be appreciated!

to breifly answer your question... Min Pins can be VERY difficult to train and have plenty of attitude!
