Dog needs new home asap - Washington

My cousin has asked me to put out the word that her Great Dane X Irish Wolf Hound needs a new home ASAP! Paris is spayed, upto date on all her shots, and is around a year old. She needs a home with no other dogs and with someone who has experience with dogs who have aggressive tendencies. Paris is currently living with another dog but has not had the attention she requires and has, unfortunately, taken it out on the other dog. Paris is great with kids, she currently lives with 2 who climb all over her, pull on her, and can take things right out of her mouth.

I wish I had some advise. Just keep checking back here---someone will come up with some great info for you. Sounds like she would maybe do well in a single dog family atmosphere--also would probably do well with some one to one training or a visit from someone like Bark Busters to give some hints. She sounds like a wonderful mix--I'm not aware of any aggressive tendancies with either breed. Again please check back for responses here--there may be a great rescue in the Bellingham area. Do a Google search for the area or check out petfinders.com in the northern Washington State area. I'm sure there must be a Bark Busters close by---they are here in the lower mainland.

try posting her on petfinder.com under classifieds in your state. I and other people I know have had luck on there finding homes.

I agree with Mara, try to find a Dane or Wolfhound rescue.

She is beautiful. I just have to ask I sure see the dane in her but I see no wolfhound, more am staff or pit bull look. Are you positive on the breed? Not that I know much about those particular breeds, but I know several people here looking for mutts, but Pit Bulls have been banned and she looks the part. Washington is a nice drive to make for that very special friend.
