Thumbs up Visit to the vet

Just thought I'd give you an update on Lilly. It's coming up to 2 months since her ordeal so the vet wanted to give her another check up today.
Everything is looking very good! Her liver is still slightly enlarged but that is normal and he said that her energy levels will most probably stay down like they have been for quite a while, because of all the stress her body has been through. Also she gets fatigued quite easily and he said she will probably have to live with that too but it's no big deal.
He said she's looking very healthy though and is pleased that she is on the BARF diet and that I got over my feeding bones phobia lol.
He also booked her into be spayed on January 2nd. I told him I was concerned about it and he said that he will make sure that nothing happens to his little mate and there is no reason why it would be a concern at all so I was very happy with that.

good news! glad to hear your little trooper is troopin on! don't worry about the spaying, I'm sure your vet would not do anything to hurt her after what she went through!

Thanks everyone! I'm very happy that she's done so well, and I'm glad that she's such a little fighter!
Her sight is pretty much restored but at times she does have problems seeing certain things, it doesn't seem to bother her though and the vet isn't concerned.

She had all sorts of problems because of it and lost her sight etc. But she stayed strong and got better! You'd never guess by looking at her now that she was such a sick little girl only 2 months ago. We were very lucky!!
