I dont understand why you would pair those 2 together! What qualities compliment each other? To me its just another bunch of "breeders" in it for greed! Dont try to tell me its so they dont shed, a Doberman hardly sheds at all, and if you mix with a poodle, you hardly have a Doberman!

Wait till Dobified sees this, we will have to get the hose out!

I've seen the mix before too. I much prefer the breeds individually! And I agree that it shouldn't be a mix, I can't see any reason for it all.

Well, I have said it before and I will say it again, that is a disgrace to the Noble Doberman Pinscher. The Doberman is bred with a purpose to dilberately cross it with a poodle is close to criminal. Whoever is breeding those is only doing it for money and is a BYB who cares nothing for the breed. Very irresponsible.


Frankly I don't find anything cute about that, it is plain old ugly.

What an odd combination to even think of!

Why on earth to they cross Poodles with everything and give them odd names like "Doodleman" or "Schnoodle" or "Goldendoodle" for anyway? Anyone with common sense can see it is just a crossbred dog.

Reminds me of horses and how they cross the Friesian with EVERYTHING and you get weird names like "Friesidale", "Moresian", and "Quaresian". Again, anyone with a bit of sense can see it is JUST a crossbred horse.

Actually, I think I answered my own question. The same with horses; money. I guess they are just trying to make the cross sound rare and unusual so people will be willing to spend big money on it.

It really is such a shame and I hate seeing the idiot price tags. I saw a litter of Pomerian/Chihauhua mixes advertised in the newspaper yesterday and they were "only asking $500 a piece". $500! For what? You can't show it or even register it anywhere that I know of! Plus, you certainly should not be breeding the thing. Why spend $500 when you can adopt a similar cross from a pound for less than $100?

I've seen it before. You need to be careful on dogbreedinfo.com 'cause it also lists breeds that are not recognized really as anything. There are search categores and if you click on something like "AKC listed breeds" you'll find only that, no oodle breeds. you can also click on the oodle category and find only oodle breeds. Be careful on what you read.
