Pointsettas a killer to dogs

Are pointsetta plants a killer to dogs or is that cats or is that babies? I just remember something about that. Ginger never paid attention to it but we did find something in Snuggles mouth the other day and I think it was that. She didn't swallow it though. I am wondering if I should rearrange where my plants are?

Yes they are a killer of dogs not sure about cats or babies. i would get rid of them all together.JMO

I think that if they ate a whole plant or something it might kill them, but it usually just makes them sick for a while. We have some and my dogs and cat never bother them.

Im sorry i guess i should have done my research. I have always been told that they are dangerous and toxic. Really sorry for the bad info.

yes, they are posionius. Actually unless it is grass without any chemicals, its my opinion that it is potentinly posionous.. ( if its a plant that grown in soil)

From what I have seen and read they are not toxic but like Moo posted they are an irritant.


I just don't get them. I have one cat that eats new plants so why risk him getting sick.
