Do you know what kind of poison? Whenever you use stuff like that at home, I would be sure to read the active ingredients and precautions.

I would monitor your dogs for symptoms of poisoning (Depending on what you used) over the next 48 hours. Listlessness, vomiting, seizures or other indications that dogs feel "off". If they develop any symptoms, be sure to bring the bag or MSDS for the product with you to an ER Vet

You should probably call your vet. Hopefully it won't harm her but you can never be too careful. Look out for signs and I hope everything is ok!

thanks guys and shep, i don't know how many but the lil varments need to find a new home...I'll moniter her bc the vets here don 't ru n a 24 hour thing..we don't have like an emergency hospital..(unfortunatly) but if something bad happens to her our vet lives right down the road and i will wake her up at 3 in the morning if something is wrong with my baby.

Oh no...I hope they will be o.k. I was never fond of rat poison simply because I have seen to many times the mice carry it away..then your pet gets it by accident. Or your cats find the dead rodent and now ingests it herself.
I use easy traps or glue traps. A word to the wise..if you use glue traps make sure it is away from curious george's. When Roo was a puppy he got his paws and face stuck to a sticky trap I had in a back bedroom. I had a awful time getting him out of it. I think I had to use vegetable oil. He still has a patch of fur missing from his nose.
Let us know how things go.

...That's disgusting! I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but I have to laugh! Ewwwww!! Mutilated mouse is worse than the ugly fish that Kirby brought me.... At least it wasn't on my bed

My dog died of Rat Poison. If she starts laying around alot and not wanting to get up much, then take her to the vet ASAP.. I wish I would have took Kaylee.
