Cool Do You Groom Your Dog Yourself?

This is just a question out of curiousity.

Do you groom your dog yourself or do you take them to a professional grooming yourself?

Poll is coming in a moment!

EDITED TO ADD: Okay, the poll is up! I voted Other because I don't have a dog at the moment so I have not really decided how much grooming I will do, etc.

I do all my own grooming myself. Luckily my dogs don't need hair cuts and so it's just basic nail clipping, bathing and brushing dailyl.

My mom grooms Ottis, other then that I do nail clipping, brushing etc for the chihuahua's. King goes in to the groomers for his nails because they are sooo tough.LOL. It's fun to watch the groomer roll around on the floor with him trying to get the dumb thing to break.lol!

TikkaSawyer is on a distinguished road
I do most of the grooming myself, but Sawyer has major nail phobias, so I let the vets do that, and any time we go on vacation and he has to stay at the spa (*wink* okay, it's a kennel), he gets groomed while we're gone. Tikka will have the same routine most likely unless I can get her to love baths and nail trimming like my old dogs did.

I do my dogs grooming ,easy with pugs bath nails and wrinkles, done. My shihtzu is long haired and some days she is a big tangle, but if I comb her every day she is easier to bathe and no mats. Her topknot is harder to keep pretty cause my pug is jealous of her being pretier than her. I have to put a scrunchie collar on the pug so she will leave joy's bow alone.

My pugs have single coats and don't really shed alot, the double coated ones really shed. Use a rubber curry comb or just rubber gloves to get the loose hair and brush them frequently. If they will let you vacuum them, my dogs like it.

I bath trim and brush Chopper myself but I take him to the groomers to have his nails done because I am scared to do it because his nails are so hard to see the quick on. I use to take him to a groomers every 3 months but I don't know any groomers I like or trust around here (isn't that horrible) and Chopper gets so stressed when we take him that I finally started doing it myself.
