Wink Pretty Goldendoodle!

Okay, not trying to start a fight over mixed breeds, etc. as I have read some older threads and know it can get very heated. I just happened to think this particular "Goldendoodle" was very attractive. Man, if they could consistently produce crosses that looked like this, I might buy one myself!

Just not for quite as much as they are usually advertised for. I saw an ad asking $2,500 for them, right next to an ad for AKC-registered English Bulldogs with Champion lines (according to the ad) that was only asking $1,200 for theirs!

It's odd looking to me. I would rather have a purebred personally. Either a poodle or a Golden. That's just me though.

*shrugs*To each his own. I personally don't like Chihuahuas: their big buggy eyes and round heads are kind of odd looking to me. I don't care for Dobermans; they look too angular, bony, and narrow for my taste. Another I don't like is the Puli dogs; they look like an animated Jamaican wigs to me. All of those breeds have very dedicated followers, but I personally don't like the way they look at all. That does not mean I don't admire their qualities or those that bred/show them, but I really don't want to own one.

Personally, I happen to think this particular mixed breed is nice looking; his color is lovely, his coat looks soft and appealing, his expression is friendly, and his body looks sturdy and has nice rounded curves to it without being not too bulky or too narrow. Given the choice, I would pick this particular dog (as far as looks go) over some purebreds I know. Again, that is just my personal opinion.

I just posted him because I wanted to share for those of us who like and have owned mixed breeds and enjoy the variety of looks they can have. Again, I just thought this particular one was attractive, though I don't think he is the prettiest dog I have ever seen, but I do admit he does appeal to me.

They look wrong to me, I don't exactly know why but they do. I like both the breeds individually but mixed it is an odd combination.

You say your not tryng to start a fight but you just called out individual breeds you dislike.
Your original thread was about the looks of the dog you posted. You think its an attractive dog, not everyone does.

Large dog/oodles look funny to me... Something about how the kinky hair makes their face look...
