Worms?
I have noticed that Penny has started dragging her butt once in a while and I checked her stool (can we say yuck?) and didn't see any worms, but that is the only reason that I personally know of that they would drag. She will be going to the vet on the 9th of January to be fixed and I was wondering if I should go ahead and make an appointment to get her checked by vet before then for worms or do you think it is safe to wait until the 9th?

I might be off base--someone will correct me if I am--but I think an.al glands that are full can be one cause of butt dragging.

Yeah, could be an.al glands. Most likely worms. Whens the last time she had her glands done? Whens the last time she was dewormed?

Prepare a warm moist wash cloth or towel. Raise the dog's tail and locate the **** glands. The glands should be at approximately 5 o'clock and seven o'clock positions in relation to the **** circumference. you will feels the glands as small firm nodules in the perianal area. Place the cloth over the area. Position your thumb on one gland and index finger on the opposite gland.
By pressing in and squeezing your fingers toward each other the glands should empty. Wipe the area clean with the cloth. Repeat if necessary. If the discharge is bloody or purulent in appearance there is probably an **** gland infection . |

that's just gross lol. I'll have to have the vet look at Tank for that when we go back next month. I just can't bring myself to do it.
