Heartbeats

OK I am fairly certain I hear heartbeats!
She also has a definate clear discharge!
She still has diarreah, vet said maybe due to crowding in her belly. So......it's looking good!
FINNALY good signs that weren't there with the phantom.
I'm getting more excited now. But still hold out a tad of doubt.
What do you all think about the pooping??

could be a lot of things the food, or the pups as you said, as long as she is drinking and seems ok i wouldnt worry too much just see how she goes, If she was around the 52 day stage it could also be a early whelp sign, I am so happy that it may be it this time

I am debating Xrays next week. I still think she should be bigger.
It's a waiting game with her
She is acting like herself. She panted a bit last night but she was just hot...
all 4 dogs in bed and a 'sick' kid and me..trying to finish the kids scarf.
(I did finish and he loves it)

Oh mad house lol, x-rays are good if you are worried about anything, but she could just be carrying a small litter, or her hornes havent dropped yet and when they do she will grow overnight lol

Since you are experienced and one who's experience I trust:
What should the pups feel like in her belly? (balls?)
Is it possible to hear heartbeats and mistake it for girggling or vise versa?
And why can't she just TELL ME lol

hehe, yes it would be easier if they could talk, and say oh mum these babys are kicking the he*l out of me lol, yes unless you have years of experence with what heart beats sound like its easy to mistake other sounds, and when you have nothing to campare it to also makes it harder, I personally stay away from palpation as the pups can get hurt, even my vet doesnt like to palpitate too much, after the 30th day fluids start to build up making it hard to feel them, if you are feeling hard balls then its poss poo, sorry but it could be lol. heart beets can be felt in the 8th week onwards, and it should sound like a short tic, tic, tic. where are you placeing the stethoscope

LOL Sharon and poo!
I have put the stethoscope ALL over her belly LMAO
with the loose bowls I am sure most of it is tummy noise- but she
isn't girgly like last night! Her tummy has calmed a little.
Vet said she probably tried to eat too much at once.
(Kody over fed 'cuz she was hungry')

Ok you need to put it on the sides of her belly, when she is on her back place it just to the side of her nipples, and in between them, sorry its hard to explain without pics

I'll try that. I found a pic on Deb Jensens site.
The kids .... my one and the nieghbors3 are in the yard so all 4 dogs are watching.
Waiting for their chance.
