Question Tail Docking

Well as you all know Sharky my Boxer is due to have her puppies in about 2 weeks. My question is how much do ya'll pay to have the tails tocked and dew claws removed? I have called the 3 vets that i use and each one has given me a dif price. $10.00 first pup After that $4 each, $25.50 Total, and $16.00 first and after $11.00 each. This seems really cheap i was thinking it would be $20.00 each. What do you think?

I really wanted them to band the tails but neither of them do it. 1 place said they would do them at 4 days old and the rest at 3 days what is better? Should i even think about banding them myself to hard or very easy? I just really wanna go the best route for the pups sake.

If I had a dog for tail docking I would never be able to do it myself.

Carrington is on a distinguished road
I think I shall fly over to the States to have my next pups docked. My vet charges £30 to dock and remove the dew claws on EACH pup. Over here in the Uk, it is illegal for us to do it ourselves and only SOME vets will do, they are few and far between too.

So whatever price you are charged, believe me it is a bargain.

If you are going to band the sooner the better.I do mine at two days. With that said if you have never banded or seen it done don't do it.Find someone who has and have them show you.It is so much nicer then listening to them scream.

Thats why i really want them to be banded i dont want them to hurt plus it looks much nicer. I dont know anyone that does it unfortunately. One of the vets i caled when i ask them if they band the tails she sounded kinda like shocked by my question. Where do you live im comming over so you can show me. LOL.
