Update on Sharky
Well Sharky is STILL pregnant and getting fatter and lazier by the minute.LOL. Her temp is going up and down, but wont be long now.

Honey, her temperature had better NOT be going up and down. A dog of good health and a normal temp runs about 102, if it drops the 99, then 98 degrees your within 24 hours of whelping puppies. Be prepared with a whelp box she should not be in with shredded papers clean and tidy, all the other necessary things, tons of clean towels, a big garabe bag to place the placents in as u do not want the dog to eat them all if u can and or good enough to grab them. A wet towel to clean up after each pup then rinse and clean dry ones. A good for record of time, sex, weight, scale to weigh each one and ribbon the necks, making certain each one is sucking and swallowing the milk, this is highly important as many lay with a nipple in the mouth to be doing nothing next day weak and near death, they must have the palletts working to drink and swallow milk, tons of it now. Heat is highly important as the least draft can cause death, when born, rub the pup hard to stimulate the hearth to beat and let it yelp, the louder the stronger the heart gets. Alot to know and attend to for a litter of healthy pup to all live.

Thanks shep. Here temp has been between 100. - 100.2 for a week it drops to 99.7 every now and then. Pups are doing great very active. Sharky still eating, drinking, And she will try to run with Tigger sometimes. Im getting ready to post more pix.
