Angry Dog hair --- every where!

Ok so I have my first inside dog. I have had him for two months and I try to "brush" him out everday. He is a shiba inu and sheds a good bit.

My question is this:

How do I get the dog hair out of the carpet? I vaccum but it doesnt really pull it up well and also out of clothes? I wash them and they are still on clothes when I pull them out of the washing machine.

I love my dog, just hate the dog hair every where, so I wanted to see if you guys do anything that I might be missing to get up. I like a clean house, and yes I know there will always be dog hair if I own a dog, but wanted to know best way to keep it "UNDER CONTROL".

Thanks!
UGA

Get a lint brush i have like 3 of um 1 is the sticky on a roller and 1 is fabric. plus i vacuum once or twice a day. That keeps hair under control in my house. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Plus i shed a lot. LOL.

Hehe we made the mistake of having a dark blue sofa and rug with 4 white dogs lol, I have a constant battle, i used to use stibky rollers, untill i got a pet vax, and it has a turbo tool for hair on sofas and its great, it gets all of the hairs and it also shampoos

Try gathering it up in clumps and throwing it out then vacuuming. It sucks, my Husky sheds a lot too.

Have you tried one of those professional grooming tools that removes the shed hair, like this one, the Shed Ender (www.shedender.com) or the FURminator (http://www.groomstar.com/prod_furmin...ss-system.html)?

at work and at home i use its like a dog brush thing made of rubber with little spikes on it we call it a jelly but it might not be its real name its grate with dogs with a dense coat at gets it all out i all so use it on the cat and any thing the dogs or cat sheds on much better than those rubber mits u get
