Red face Vomiting!! Everywhere!

The title basically explains it all but Elle puked once near the computer, 3 x in the hall, and now once in her crate withen an hour!! I gave her quite a few treats today.. but then again, she gets a lot of treats everyday from my dad and stuff so she should be used to it. I tried teaching her roll over.. could that have jumbled her up?

I would stop giving her treats, food, and water for a lil while. Try giving her water I'd say in about an hour or so to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated. If she doesn't stop throwing up, then you should definitely call your vet! I hope everything's ok!

You can also try giving her some cooked white rice and chicken a little at a time. I don't think this happened because you were teaching her to roll over. Watch her water intake, make sure she doesn't get dehydrated. Call your vet if it continues through the night.

I add to that if after you've withheld food for several hours, you might try mixing some plain boiled rice with some plain boiled cut up chicken. Give her just a little bit and see if she keeps that down. It's a very bland diet and if she keeps it down, you might want to keep her on it (and no other treats, etc) for a few days while her tummy settles down.

You might want to ease up on the treats. Too many can uset the stomach and they can definately put on the pounds. Most of them are the canine equivalent to human junk food.

I agree with others that if the throwing up continues much more, a vet trip is in order.

You might see if she'll drink children's pedialyte - the flavored version. This will keep her hydrated. It's usually found in the diaper aisle.

if i where you i would do two things, 1. starve her for 12 hours to clean out her system, than on the 13/ 14 hour give her boiled chicken and white boiled rice. This will help her tummy. Also no treats or anything like that for at least 24 hours . If she doens't stop vomiting after this i would take her to the vet immediatly for some medication.

I agree with Aria in that I would definitely give her tummy a rest by withholding food for 12 hours and then give her bland food such as Debbie and 2ndChance have suggested; just provide some water with pedialyte but allow her to drink for herself as I have known people to try and squirt water down the dog's throat with a syringe and it ended up in the lungs instead causing inhalation pneumonia. If things don't get any better within 12 hours and she continues to throw up then it's time to see the vet.

I would keep the treats well away from her for her sake, just stick to her main meals and that should suffice. What treats do you usually give her??

Let her clear out. A lot of treats suddenly can be a big strain on a little stomach.

I say just make sure she gets water, and watch her for 24 hours. Feed her no more treats for a day or two.
