FAITH, HELP natural balance?

ok, I promise this is the last food thread I will post. I am switching Bernice and Tanker over to this but just wanted to check with the local experts here. It looks good to me, but am I missing something? I have done research and it looks good, but the companies can be tricky devils! any feedback or experiences would be very welcomed.

thanks faith!

Sorry didnt see the link before lol

Well its I would say better than adverage, but there is a lot of things in it which I always try to avoid, and I would prefer not to see rice as the second ingredent, and it seems high in grains, but I am not an expert I am just looking at what i look for in a food

wow, thanks for the vote of confidence!

i took a look, and while i agree with barnjess about rice being the 2nd ingredient, it looks pretty good to me. plus, **** Van Patten has several types of foods, if you decide to also try the venison or duck varieties.

plus it's easily available (at least around here) which is always nice.

do you mind me asking which brand you are switching from? and why you want to switch?

thats why I said better than adverage, and I agree its whats available to you and in your prics range is whats important and also what suits your dog, as I said I was just saying what I look for in a food, but at the end of the day its your choice, you just have to see how your dog does on it

that's exactly right. not every dog does well on each food - no matter how good the food might be.

I am feeding Nutro lg breed puppy, but my dogs keep itching. After all the food posts on here I looked and noticed corn in it. I am really just trying to get them away from the corn. I think that might be the culprit.??
here's the link for the food i have been using
http://www.nutroproducts.com/maxlbpup.asp

nutro also has an ultra line of food, it looks about the same as the natural balance. After a while all the labels spin together in a sea of ingredients! that's why i want the food specialist and research queen to assist me! lol
