Scar???
I was wondering whether or not Poppy would be scarred (physically) from the dog attack last week. She has a puncture wound and about a 4 inch scrape on her skin from the wound. I just wondered if anybody knew whether or not her fur would grow back here or if it will still be visible once the scab has dropped off and it's healed properly.

there is always a possibility of scaring when a wound has been inflicted. However depending on how deep, scareing could be minimal.. use neosporin or polysporine on the wound when itstarts to heal, and that shold help the scaring to be at minimal =)

Thanks for the suggestion Aria but we can't buy that over the counter in the UK - and the vet won't let me have any either.
It's not that I mind either way! I was just wondering... she's still perfect to me

My friends dog Sally was attacked by a mutt and had a 3" gash that required 5 stitchs. It happened about 2 -3 months ago. You have to be right up to it to see it. She has shorter hair than a lab.

Mara has VERY short skin but her hair always seems to grown enough to make the scar almost invisible.
