Well it depends on what wormer you are useing and what has he been wormed on now? I use drontal http://www.stopwormsdead.co.uk/template.php?sectionId=1

It also depends when you live.
In Colorado we deworm for heartworm and only from may-october.

due you give heartworm tablets/pills? If you do this will take care of your wormer medication. so their is no need to deworm cept if tapeworms are found..
