Diabetes and kidney stones
Hey everyone, my mom has a 7 year old female schnauzer (sp?) that has been diagnosed with diabetes and stones. Her vet says the only way to remove the stones is through surgery but because of her diabetes and a slight heart murmur, this could be risky. THe vet has recommended putting her on a long run of antibiotics to get rid of the stones. Has anyone else had expereince with this and advice on how to handle?
