Thumbs down Another seizure for Clifford

Clifford had another focal seizure last night, it lasted almost 5 minutes.

I honestly couldn't tell you the last time he had one. I am wondering if its the switch in food I just did. I switched his food around a month ago. He was doing very well on Eagle Pack, but I thought the Premium Edge looked better.

Do you think I should just switch him back to Eagle, or give it some more time??

I'm sorry to hear about Clifford, I don't know what to advise because I'm not familiar with either of those brands. Have you called your vet for some advice? Is he on medication for his seizures?

Have not called the vet. He is not on Phenobarbitol, because the seizures are not epileptic.
DogtorJ is the one that suggested to put him on the Eagle Pack. (he is a member who has not benn around in a while)

Oh no!!! Poor Clifford!! I think I've read here before that dogs with seizures do better on Eagle Pack, but I'm sure people with more experience than me will have answers for you.
Big kisses for the handsome boy from Mara!

If he was doing good on the Eagle I would switch him....if it ain't broke, don't fix it lol AS for wasting that bag...you could always donate to your local humane society

Sorry Traci, I dont know too much about seizures. I also havent heard of those brands either. Have you talked to the vet at all? Anyways, I hope Clifford has some success with the old food. Sending hugs and kisses to him

I don't know about where you live but around here we can take back any premium brand food (they all have a guaretee) for a complete refund...no matter what the reason. And in your case you have a very valid reason! I'd give it a try. No sense wasting the money or the food. Give Clifford a big hug (not that you haven't already)
