over weight
hi I have too sa y my dog Issy is over weight and I want to know what might help her lose weight. Sorry for asking all these questions.

What kind of food do you feed her? What breed? How much does she weigh? Do you exercise her alot? How old is she? Does she get lots of scra.ps?

I feed her Iams food.She is a Yorkie!!She ways like i'm not shure but i think she ways about 5 pounds or a lil more. but shes fat I try but she just doesnt want to. Um she is about 7 or 8 years

As dogs get older, they get bigger- I have a 8year old dachshund and she is supposed to weigh 7 or 8 pounds and she weighs about 15 or 16. I'm not sure what you could to do exept go on lots of walks and exercise her alot.

First, Iams is not something that I would feed, not that I know the nutritional value of it.
Walks, swims, hikes are always a good idea. Getting older, you may want to ask your vet about a maintenance diet.

Lean
You can also get lean dog food by various dog companies. I changed between senior and lean with my past dog. The vet says either ones are good.
