Do you know what the breed of the other dog who mated with her is?

I'm sure she ought to be fine, just make sure she is given plenty of nutritious foods and once she has the litter I would give her a calcium carbonate or calcium gluconate tablet and continue every 3rd day till the litter is weaned.

She should be ok as long as she recovered from the previous litter and is in good shape now, both mentally and physically. There is new research being shown now that breeding every heat is thought to be better for them. I guess if you watch mother nature, she allows it in her house.

I've yet to see a breeding take place through a fence...what did she do, back into the fence and how did he tie with her, put his paws through the links?? You should've taken a picture...I'd love to see it!

Dogs will do just about anything to...procreate.

A friend of mine breeds Pointers, around her kennel area is a 6 foot high fence, sorron**** 6 acers, and beyond that there are seperate kennels for dogs that don't get along/stud dogs/females in season, ect. Well a neighborhood stray climbed that 6 foot fence, and when Jeanne came home she found her Pointer tied with the nighborhood casanova through the 8 foot high fencing.

She had the dog spayed a week later. She's a strict breeder about unwanted pups in the world...
