I would pick the second one, for two reasons it has lamb not chicken and also it's lower in protein (which my vet recommended for Poppy). What is the second one (I'm guessing the first one is the Berrimen's site you posted).

My vet told me that even though Poppy is considered a large breed, we should be aiming for a protein content of less than 21% or less if I fed commercial dog food. Apparently it can cause them to be "hyperactive" - not her exact words but that's what she meant.

The meat is listed first in the other one BUT the percentages are the same so I reckon it's a marketing ploy!

Yes could be, i know a high protein can mean high fat which is not good for large breeds, but not all foods are the same, personally i cant see how high protein can cause her to be hyperactive, I have had people say that to be that there dog is hyperactive becasue of the high protein, but its because they are feeding a food with a lot of addictives
