Picture from your dog's fur!

www.furrykeepsakes.com

Basically, people send me fur from their pet(s). I use it to create a picture and mount it under glass for them so that they will always have a part of their pet with them. It is similar to Victorian hair work, but I work exclusively with fur! You can check out some samples of my work on my webpage. Thanks for looking! Leeann

& here i've been trying to get rid of the stuff. IT's everywhere in massive quantities. I'll empty the vac and you can have it but I dont' really want it back.

I have enough here today to make myself two new dogs - if only I could knit.

"It's what to do with all that fur!"

On my business cards I write: "Furry Keepsakes - It's what to do with all that fur!". There are also people out there who will weave your dog's hair into yarn and then knit you a sweater or something, or send you the yarn to do it yourself! I don't have any of the links on hand, but I have seen a couple of websites about them!

LOL... trying to visualize that one... :P

I don't get much hair off of my dog, I have his old teeth on my book shelf though... Call it creepy, (because it is), but they look too cool to not keep.
