Arrow Nutromax Opinions Please

This new section came at a good time. I have switched my golden(Buddy) and my mix (Dumpher) to Nutromax Weight Control. They both need to lose some weight and it had other ingredients that sounded like good supplements especially since Buddy has a bad hip. So if anyone has experience or knowledge on this food, I welcome your feedback.

Max is a decent enough food, but I would go with Nutro Natural Choice if I were you. The only complaint I would have is the Vitamin k3.

Natural Choice comes in several different varieties. Nutro has three foods, Max. Natural Choice, and Ultra. They are the good, better, and best type of thing. I personally am not a fan of Ultra for the price, so I would go Natural Choice. As for the Vitamin K3... http://www.prodoggroomingsupplies.co...ad.php?t=15050

Oh geez! I thought I was doing a good thing! So natural doesn't have that? And what about the other ingredients, are they about the same? I guess I missed your post on k3.

I don't know if Natural Choice has it. I think that Sheltiemama might know. The other ingredients are good. I think that Max would be comparable to ProPlan and NC would be one step up.

Out at the rescue we have had bad luck with Nutro products. Some dogs have come in because they "leak" all were on Nutro, as soon as food was changed, no more problems. We have also seen problems with Crystals.

My dogs were on Nutro for a long time and no problems. Clifford ate Nutro from puppy to about almost 2. They did fine, every dog is different.
