Found a Jack

And now I wish i hadn't returned it! Yep that may sound bad but we have a new family in the neighbor hood, they moved in a week ago along with their two boys and a JRT and a English Bull terrier, My neighbor found a Jack wondering on a main road and brought him to me as there dog would kill it, It was quite late so i was going to keep him for the night and then take him to the vets the next day to see if he had a chip, but hubby said why don't I take a walk with him and ask at the pubs and shops, so i did I left my number everywhere and then went back home, he wasn't very old about 1 year and a real sweetie and friendly chap, he was wearing a tag but it just had a sticky label on it that was worn and dirty, but hubby managed to scrape some of it and get a mobile number from it, it was missing one number so i called loads of people trying a different number in its place each time, in the end the last number I tried was the owners, she came to pick him up with her very arrogant hubby and said they had also lost an English Bull terrier, I said I would keep my ears open and let them know if I herd or found him. My hubby went up the local tonight and this arrogant hubby came in asking if anyone had found a JRT and a Bull terrier, they said not recently only when a lady came in with a JRT the other day, My by said yep that was my wife, the man said they had lost them 4 times since and now cant find them, what makes this all worst is the little jack is deaf has been from birth. I cant believe these people, they are rolling in it they both have new cars but they cant even buy a tag for their dogs and take care of them!! i wish i hadn't given the little chap back, poor boy deserves better!

That's so sad! People seem to forge that a dog is a life, not a possession.
