What do you feed your dog?

My puppy is very very picky on what he eats. I have tried all sorts of dog food. I got the cheep stuff at first like Gravy Train because you can mix it with water to get the gravy. He liked that for awhile then wouldn't touch it. Well I had a coupon for Purina Puppy chow so I got a bag of that. He really likes that but sometimes won't touch it. I gave him a sample bag of Pedagree puppy chow. He wouldn't touch that. Well now I am taking the 30 day challenge from Purina One. I picked up a bag of the puppy growth and development and gave him a little taste when I got home. He woofed it down. He seemed like he really likes it. So now I have to mix the food with his other puppy chow until he goes completly over to the Purina One. I would love to take him to Petsmart or Petco to see what food and toys he really loves, but both of those stores are an hour away. So what do you feed your dog? Is there a cheaper food out there that my puppy might like if he gets tired of this dog food? Money is a little tight sometimes around here. Hey I married a Marine with a debt.

Purina isn't the greatest brand, but as far as pet fods that can be bought in a supermarkest it will do.

I feed mostly Fromm with Innova canned food.

Right now I feed Innova Evo (dry mixed with a little canned), but I have determined it's too high in fat so I'm going to switch over to the plain Innova.

My other two dogs are on prescription diets because they were having chronic urinary tract infections.

I recently switched mine to Blue Seal 26 and they LOVE it - even my BC who is a very picky eater.

Its very reasonable - about $20 for a 50lb bag.

I have been feeding Penny Canndae (or however you spell it) and been trying out other different types and mixing it with the Canndae because Penny hasn't been eating much lately. If I would feed her wet dog food, then she would scoff her food down but I just don't want her to get use to having nothing but canned or mixing it with the dry. Canndae is not the cheapest, but isn't the most expensive out there.

I feed my dog Innova mized with a Local brand. Rice & warm water usually makes things tasty enough to eat.
